How to defeat Naglfar's core
While the story is developing Ys X: Nordic countriesyou'll meet three main villains fairly early on, with Audre obviously the leader of the ring. He offers to fight against you at the beginning to show you how strong he is, and then you begin your journey to gain strength and challenge this fearsome enemy.

Just by looking at the stats above, you can probably already tell how tough this fight is going to be. This is the first main boss battle you'll face after Logr, and he had half the health. In addition to boasting these high stats, the Naglfar Nucleus battle also has two enemies that attack you at the same time: Odr and the Core itself.

Regular slashes |
If Audre has a stamina bar, he will usually perform slash attacks where he is charges hand for a second before executing a quick slash or two. |

Stomps on the ground |
Odr usually has two types of ground stomps in this battle. One of them is quite common when he lifts his leg in the air and then smashing it to the ground. The other only triggers when you are far away. The second stomp chas a much larger AoEdamage and crowd control. |

Red attack |
Odr usually glows with a red aura where he charges a giant orb on the head and then throws it at you. This attack is pretty easy to parry once you get used to it, making it great for boosting your revenge. In another red attack, Audre can use her hook before taking off into the air and then they break the ground. |

Quick attack |
On the other hand, previously the Core was usually charged with a blue aura shooting a laser with a wide range. |

Dark sphere |
Sometimes you will see Audre throw herself into a dark orb in her hands. If you see this, the best course of action is to run away as he pleases for a moment try to capture your active character and deal serious damage if successful. |
In addition to these attacks, the Core can also perform multiple melee attacks if you try to harm him.
How to defeat Naglfar's core
The Naglfar Nucleus fight is one of the few in Ys X: Nordics where you need to get your strategy right. The main thing you should keep in mind is that while the Core itself can change its position, it doesn't have much mobility and mostly stays on one side battlefield. On the other hand, Audre will constantly move to attack you.
The basic idea of the battle is that you must first take Odra's stamina bar, which makes him immobile for a few secondsand then you can focus your attacks on Core until he gets up again. The good thing is that the Core does not regenerate its durability or health at any point in the battle.
You cannot definitively defeat Odra during the battle, and yours the only choice is to permanently immobilize it.
One quick way to end this battle is to stay near the Core, as Audre will follow you there anyway and you can use AoE attacks to hit them both. however, you will need to dodge and parry well for this as you will face a constant barrage of attacks from both enemies with little time to react.
On the other hand, you can also stay away from Core and focus on Odr first before attacking him. Either way, it's important to have multiple abilities with high burst damage in this battle.
