First of all, you need to add a ride to the park using the custom ride builder to make the most of the scenery. Any plan will have scenery already attached.

Once you do that, select the ride and tab to the second tab from the end that looks like a paint pallet. Then at the top of this page you will see an option to “Attach a landscape”.

Select this and a Scenery pop-up menu will appear where you can choose from a variety of options and add them to your ride and surroundings.

You will be able to choose lighting effects, pyrotechnics, bushes, railings and moremaking the flat ride match the theme of the rest of your park.

Since many flat ride designs follow a Viking or roller coaster theme, they are often not suitable for your park. So it's best to make your own using special tools.

There are other reasons to add scenery to your rides besides making your rides prettier and more in line with the theme of your park. These reasons boil down to guest preferences and the prestige of your park.

Adding decorations will increase your scenery ratingwhich is one of four factors that go into your overall park rating. Landscapes that are classified as prestigious and visible to guests will be included in this ranking, so it is important to add them to attractions on an equal footing.

The higher your park rating, the more likely guests will want to spend money and the more visitors your park will attract.
