Despite believing that she lacks confidence, and in Chapter 4 believing that she doesn't belong at Krum School, Shiemi is already taking appropriate steps to boost her confidence. Despite making relevant films, Shiemi unfortunately got off to a rocky start when she asked Kamiki Izuma to be her friend, as Izuma had his own inner demons to contend with.
While Shiemi had many setbacks, she never gave up on being her friend and bettering herself.
