What was Shiemi like in season 1?

Moriyama Shiemi was a timid and somewhat timid young girl in the beginning Blue Exorcist season 1. When Shiemi was first introduced in Chapter 3, she was a quiet girl tending the garden of the Exorcist Shop and tired of demons. Shiemi has made impressive changes over the course of the series. Despite believing that she lacks confidence, and in Chapter 4 believing that she doesn't belong at Krum School, Shiemi is already taking appropriate steps to boost her confidence. Despite making relevant films, Shiemi unfortunately got off to a rocky start when she asked Kamiki Izuma to be her friend, as Izuma had his own inner demons to contend with.

While Shiemi had many setbacks, she never gave up on being her friend and bettering herself. Another unfortunate setback for Shiemi was her inability to tell if someone was being sarcastic and thus making fun of her. Although Shiemi can be a little silly, she always had good intentions when it came to helping her friends.

Shiemi's progress as an Exwire at the Shop School and personality will change dramatically when the series reaches Season 3 in Blue Exorcist. Shiemi's changed personality will be most evident during Shimane's Illuminati arc. Although it hadn't been long since Shiemi joined the Crum School, Shiemi's confidence in herself and her abilities soon made her a reliable ally.

Although Shiemi did not achieve self-confidence, her ability to survive difficult times and never give up on her friends was admirable. Shiemi didn't know that her hard work and willingness to help her friends made her very popular among the students at the Krum School. However, she still thinks little of herself.
