The last of us HBO immediately became one of the best game adaptations. He came from the Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and had a lot of deposits from a naughty dog, as apparently in the authenticity of the show.

The show made several changes here and there compared to the game, but for the most part, these changes made sense and worked well, given the different narrative carriers. All the moments of the character were present here without missing any blow. Some episodes got stronger than others, but they all played an important role in the story of the story, which was very well adapted.

Episode 7

There was a lot of heart in the left episode, but without game moments from the titular DLC it was not the same. Episode 3

This episode takes a detour from Joel and Eli and focuses more on Bill and Frank. In the game you only meet with Bill and read about Frank and his death through an additional, thrown note.

But the show completely rewrote its history and endings into the history of love, which is really done and leads to a very touching episode. Although Eli will not be able to meet this version of Bill and misses this section of the game, it still fits well enough.

Episode 4

This episode creates two parts through episode 5. Joel and Eli arrive in Kansas City, which replaces the Pittsburgh part from the game. The city feels more lively and dangerous, and it gives more context to the people who still live there.

We meet Kathleen, a new character heading a rebel group that captured the quarantine zone. It is not in the game, but adding a new minor antagonist really helps this story of the arc. The episode is a little more focused on setting, but it creates a lot of good stress for what is next.

Episode 2

This episode really helped to secure the trio Joel, Tess and Eli, even if it is not long, given the fate of the tiss. The second episode gets directly into the thick things when the trio moves through Boston.

The show did a great job, showing how dangerous things were, especially with clicks on this museum stage. It also expanded on infected games like the Cordyceps network. Walking is firm and the action is horrible and intense.

Look for light

Episode 9

The last episode of the season brings all in the mostly good way. But this is only about 40 minutes, and it feels a little hurried. The first ten minutes are spent on a retrospective, showing Mom Eli, which is new, and adds something cool but also takes time from the main story.

However, as soon as everything returns to the hospital, it is intense, if not so long. Joel's choice saves Eli instead of letting fireflies work on her game as in the game, and it is still affected.

Episode 8

The winter section of the game is dark, hard and very important for Eli growth, and the show nails the same feeling. In this episode, Eli tries to help restore Joel, while also collided with David, which is as awful as in the game.

The snow town also looks great, though it feels like an arc with a two -story arc, as with episodes 4 and 5, it could make it even stronger. But even in one episode he manages to achieve a lot, and naves the end with Joel and Eli.

If you are lost in the dark

Episode 1

The first episode of the season did a great job to do the show, and its setting felt a big deal. This is the most length that works about 75 minutes, and it uses this time very well. The first 30 minutes of the episode focused on Joel, Sarah and Tommy before everything falls apart. This part sticks to the game, and the fate of Sarah strikes as much as in the game.

The second half of the episode goes forward into the quarantine zone, represents Tess, Eli and Marlene, and sets the post-apocalyptic installation and history, without feeling rushing.

Episode 6

This episode takes place in Jackson, where Joel finds Tommy again. In the game, they are found on a hydro -platinum in Wyoming, but changing it to Jackson here is actually much more meaningful. This allows us to see the community before the proper introduction in the last of us, part 2.

Joel and Tommy scenes are really strong here. Joel begins to show a lot of vulnerabilities, and Tommy gets more than in the game. The work of the characters is higher, and the tension between all characters is well transmitted.

Endure and survive

Episode 5

This is the second part of the Kansas -Siti storyline, and this is the best episode of the season. Joel and Eli adhere to Henry and Sam when they try to avoid the city and the connection between them feels really natural. Sam is younger in the show, as well as the deaf, which adds another layer to its character and makes its scenes even more emotional. The sequence of episode action involving Bloaters and other infected is the best of the whole season.

And then there is an ending, which is also as good as in the game. Joel and Eli don't say much after, but you can feel how it changes them. This episode was just the perfect combination of action and stories.
