Gran Turisma 7Update 1.52 is just around the corner and with it comes several new additions to the racing game. The patch will be available to all players and features three Japanese cars Gran Turisma 7as well as new events for World Circuits and other additions.

Gran Turisma 7 had a bumpy launch due to server issues and announcing microtransactions only after reviews had already been posted. Since 2022, Polyphony Digital has released free updates almost every month, constantly adding new content such as cars, events, tracks and other quality of life improvements. Previous Gran Turisma 7 updates usually add new vehicles to the game, and some even include tracks like the Eiger-Nordwand track, last seen in Gran Turisma 6.


Update 1.52 for Gran Turisma 7 is out today for PS5 and PS4 at 11pm PST and will add three new Japanese sports cars, including the '04 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII MR GSR, the '24 Nissan GT-R Premium Edition T-spec, and the white '16 Toyota Hiace Van DX . With this latest update, the racing game will have a total of 517 cars to choose from, which is an incredible achievement considering the effort required to produce new cars for Gran Turisma 7. Of these, three cars are special in-game versions.

In addition to vehicles, the update will bring new World Circuits events: the Sunday Cup for Tokyo Expressway, the Nissan GT-R Cup for Circuit de Sainte-Croix and the Evolution Meeting for Kyoto Driving Park, Autodromo Nazionale Monza and the Colorado Springs Circuit. Also, the cafe will introduce an additional menu for Gran Turisma 7this time the collection is: Audi, only available to collectors level 42 and above. Other additions in the update include Gran Turismo AI agent Sophy featured on Brands Hatch – Grand Prix Circuit and Dragon Trail – Seaside, as well as Chicago being featured in Curation's featured Scapes.


Polyphony Digital has provided excellent support for Gran Turisma 7but what could really change the game's performance and visuals is the upcoming PlayStation 5 Pro. Following the announcement, Sony released a list of games that will receive technical upgrades on the PS5 Pro, improving FPS, graphics, or both. One of the games that will be updated on PS5 Pro Gran Turisma 7with promises of 8K graphics in precision mode or 60fps with ray-tracing while playing in what will likely be a performance mode.
