Genshin Impact has given players a preview of the new TCG Genius Invokation cards for version 5.3, featuring Clarinda and Mualani as playable characters. For now Genshin Impact is primarily an open-world role-playing game, it has also introduced several alternate game modes over the years. Pot of Serenitea and TCG Genius Invokation are the most notable examples, with the latter being added in Genshin Impact in version 3.3.

The Genius Invokation TCG has undergone many changes since its debut, but at its core it remains a card game that attempts to mimic combat mechanics Genshin Impact. Therefore, players should create a team for the Genius Invokation TCG and augment it with artifacts, food, and other types of buffs. The Genius Invokation TCG released in version 3.3 is still lacking in characters, though version 5.2 notably adds Rosaria and Sigevin to the playable cast.

Given that Sauri in the village Genshin Impact presented as Technique cards, the Artifact card fits Natlan decks. Additionally, People of the Springs is a new support card that increases the number of uses to summon a player by one, for a total of three charges. This synergizes with Mualani, whose Elemental Burst summons her Shark.

While some Genshin Impact players are not fans of the Genius Invokation TCG, the content is (for the most part) completely optional. However, the overall popularity of the Genius Invokation TCG cannot be denied as the developers recently released a physical version Genshin Impact card game in China, which opens up the opportunity for personal tournaments. Version 5.3 is scheduled for January 1, 2025.
