Jiu-jutsu Kaisen the final volume is officially out, and with it, fans got a new epilogue chapter that only added to the already established ending of the series. This can be said with confidence JJK's the epilogue was incredibly exciting as fans saw the focus shift to the likes of Panda, Nobara, Sukuna, Urame, and last but not least, the main character of the story, Yuji Itadori. For fans who were expecting to see Yuji in battle after the war, this wasn't such a good chapter.

Still, it was definitely massive for readers who wanted Yuji's romantic relationship to develop. This chapter gave fans a glimpse of Yuuji's potential partner, and while the author didn't reveal anything definitive, the hints were right there in their faces.

Throughout the run JJKfans have not seen Yuji Itadora have romantic partners. This shouldn't come as a surprise to fans because the story actually spans a very short amount of time. In the world JJKit hasn't even been a year since the beginning of the story, and thus not many relationships will have changed in that short amount of time. When you think about how tumultuous those times were, it becomes especially impossible for these characters to develop personal relationships. Thus, Yuuji, who was single at the beginning of JJK, continued to be so until the very end.

While Yuji was without a romantic partner JJK for the vast majority of the story, that certainly doesn't mean the author didn't hint at things. As expected, the author made some hints about Yuuji and Nobara being romantic partners, which was just there for the sake of it. The story made it clear many times that there was absolutely nothing between the two characters, and most fans interpreted the relationship as a sibling-like bond. You could say that Yuuji and Megumi also had an interesting relationship, but again, in the end, that relationship was portrayed as more of a brotherly relationship than anything else.

There is only one character that Yuuji has attracted to Gege when it comes to romance and that is Ozawa. For fans who don't remember, Ozawa was one of Yuji's schoolmates who he genuinely enjoyed spending time with. She had always had a crush on him and he was one of the few people who was actually kind to her. Ozawa is back JJK at a later point in time, and although she was going to confess her feelings to him, it never happened. Much to the surprise of fans, Ozawa returned for JJK's epilogue and had the chance to spend time with Yuji Itadora again.

JJK'S the epilogue opened with Ozawa, which came as a surprise to fans. She returned to her hometown, and after spending many years there with a completely different look, she was disappointed that no one would ever recognize her. In a way, Ozawa was disappointed by how superficial people could be, but her bubble was burst when Yuji Itadori jumped out in front of her and recognized her immediately. Then again, while Yuuji's presence was a surprise to her, the fact that he recognized her definitely wasn't. It's just that Yuji is a very perceptive character, and at the same time not at all shallow.

Yuuji had even mentioned his interest in her way back when he was in school. It wasn't a shock at all that Yuuji recognized Ozawa right away. However, for Ozawa, it was a moment that confused her. But, at the same time, she admitted that this was her chance to rekindle her relationship with Yuji after high school.

Yuji is on the brink of adulthood! – Megumi and Nobara

Since Yuuji was there to clean up old business after his grandfather's death, it was the perfect time to see her often and build a strong relationship. The author wittily uses the metaphor of loving snow here. At the very beginning of the chapter, fans saw a flashback where Yuji and Ozawa are watching the snow. They both admit to loving the snow, and the fact that they're sharing this moment together certainly makes it special. In the epilogue, Ozawa asks Yuuji if he still likes snow, to which Yuuji replies that he does. This is basically a big test for Ozawa because she wants to know if Yuuji still likes spending time with her like they used to look at the snow when they were kids or not. Fortunately for her, Yuji's answer is positive, and from that point on, a positive relationship can be built between the two characters.

At the end of c JJK's In the epilogue, fans didn't get to see Yuuji and Ozawa because the focus was on other characters. Yuji and Ozawa only spoke for a short period of time, and it is unclear exactly what happened to them after that conversation. Given that Yuuji had been there for quite some time, it's possible that they ended up talking a lot more and growing closer to each other. But whether or not Yuji and Ozawa continued dating remains to be seen. Fans know nothing about this development in history. You could say that the relationship between Yuuji and Ozawa was left ambiguous by the author, and this was probably done on purpose to keep them on the edge of their seats.

However, the fact that Ozawa was reintroduced in the epilogue and her feelings for Yuji were emphasized once again definitely lends more weight to the idea that they could end up together years later. Fans were treated to a 62-year flashback, but unfortunately no hint was given as to what happened to Yuuji and Ozawa. It is entirely possible that they eventually married and had children and possibly even grandchildren. However, there is absolutely no confirmation yet. All fans can take away from the epilogue is that their relationship has been re-emphasized and they've developed it to a degree.

It is impossible to say for sure whether they met after that or not. But you can tell that the author was definitely hinting at it, because otherwise the epilogue would serve no purpose.
