While Epic Games has recently taken some steps to change battle passes and increase the likelihood of their content appearing in the store after the end of the season, this was not always the case. In fact, for most of Fortnite, each chapter's few battle passes were incredibly limited, with their rewards lost to time after each season ended.

Now that Fortnite has been around for a full five chapters and attracting a bigger audience every year, many players, both new and old, are looking back on the battle passes they've missed since they started playing. If you've been playing Fortnite long enough, I'm sure you've already gotten some good answers.

The conversation about the missing battle passes was started on the Fortnite Battle Royale subreddit by Redditor HuntiniMartini, who started the matter by sharing a photo of Chapter 4 of Season 1. This oft-forgotten season featured Geralt, the Doom Slayer, and tons of original skins, so it makes sense to miss due to absence.

Also, the top comment in the thread comes from Redditor Teosaurusrexx, who says that they wish they hadn't missed Chapter 1 of Season 7 of the Battle Pass, but they did because all their friends stopped playing. In keeping with the season, this was Fortnite's first big Christmas Battle Pass and featured icons like Sgt. Winter, Ice King and Glidurrr. Ouch, that must sting.

One pass that gets a lot of mention (even off-topic) is Chapter 3, Season 1, as it features the yet-to-be-repeated comic version of Spider-Man. We're looking at you, Peter B. Parker.

Another popular missed Battle Pass in the thread is Chapter 2 Season 4, which was Marvel's first season in Fortnite. XboxBladesOnTop specifically mentioned that they wish they had bought it to have the Mystique skin, which can uniquely transform into others with a unique emote that is still talked about to this day.

As you can imagine, the thread has plenty of examples and plenty of specific reasons why each season is desirable, but looking at the post is a good reminder of just how far Fortnite has come.
