Fortnite players using Black Panther Shuri's claws have encountered a major bug that causes them to fly into the sky. Epic Games has teamed up with Marvel again for another superhero-themed season, Fortnite saw tons of new weapons and items added to the game taken straight from Marvel movies or comics. From Captain America's Shield to the Claws of the Black Panther Shuri Chapter 5 Season 4 aka Absolute Doom completely messed up the meta game. Unfortunately, a lot of new things Fortnite since the launch of the new content update, items have taken a significant hit, which is just one of the many controversies that have arisen throughout the season.
Along with Doctor Doom's constant nerves and incredible strength Fortnite weapons, players are now facing a nasty bug that causes them to fly into the sky. On Reddit, one user posted a short clip of them using Black Panther Shuri's claws and trying to use the dash ability to jump forward. Unfortunately, when they activated the ability, they were teleported to the very top of the island. Luckily, they were unharmed by the fall as they raced back to the island, but it incapacitated them for more than a minute.

The message resonated with the community, as well as with other hobbyists Fortnite players revealed that they encountered the same error. Reddit user GalickGunn said the same thing happened to them two weeks ago while they were playing with their son. They explained that there was only one team left, but when they used their dash ability, it lifted them into the sky. Fortunately, their son was able to finish the job and take home the royal victory. Another user known as doomsoul909 said that they encountered an error during the “claws only” task.
This is not the first time Fortnite players have encountered a bug with Marvel weapons, and it's probably not the last. While there's no way to know exactly what's causing this annoying error, one Reddit user suggested that the problem is related to server desync. They explained that the server most likely cannot determine the exact location of the players in time, so the default location is set to 0, where the battle bus appears at the start of the game.
