Monster Hunter fans haven't exactly hidden their love for Final Fantasy 14. The two IPs have crossed paths in the past, much to the delight of players and developers alike. Considering how popular Monster Hunter World has become and how successful Final Fantasy 14 remains, it's no surprise that the two want to collaborate again for Monster Hunter Wilds.

Capcom's blockbuster has already attracted the attention of hundreds of thousands of people. And this is just the open beta…
We've already seen players show their love for both games in the Monster Hunter Wilds beta. A large number of players have created their hunters to look like Final Fantasy 14 director Naoki “Yoshi-P” Yoshida. Now, other developers from the Final Fantasy 14 team are talking about how they can't wait for the crossover.
Fantasy of monsters 14
Speaking to GamesRadar+, lead combat content designer Masaki Nakagawa said that the team loves the Monster Hunter series and can't wait to collaborate on a future installment of the series.
“The FF14 team has a lot of fans of the Monster Hunter series, and I'm one of them,” Nakagawa explained. “If we had the opportunity to do a crossover, we would love to do it, but with the release date of Monster Hunter Wilds almost upon us, we will do our best to enjoy the game first.”
Both sides seem excited about the prospect of a crossover. “The game designer who did the combat content for our crossover with Monster Hunter: World was very motivated even after they finished the crossover, saying that the next time there was a time, they wanted to do this and that,” Nakagawa said. . “So if we can make a crossover, I'm sure with our incredible enthusiasm, we'll be able to create something amazing!”
Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy don't shy away from crossovers, with plenty of monsters and enemies crossing over. We can't wait to see what the teams have in store for us this time around, especially with all the improvements and new features we've seen in Monster Hunter Wilds.
