There was a brief period of paranoia inside Destiny 2 community about the possibility of weapons dropping with desired perks, and after a brief investigation, Bungie confirmed that this was indeed an issue that was making it harder to get certain shots. As compensation, Banshee will be selling several weapons with great perk combinations for anyone to buy.
Most of these weapons are pretty old, but they're still pretty strong even compared to all the newer weapons Episode Destiny 2: Revenant. Players will be able to get their hands on this weapon on November 19th, and while the drop date for this weapon is planned, Bungie has yet to set a specific date. Here are all the weapons you can expect to find in Gunsmith until then.

Destiny 2: The best weapons to craft during the Festival of the Lost
Destiny 2's Festival of the Lost event allows players to make some good weapon rolls. Here's what you need to pay attention to when killing the Headless.
Multimach CCX
- Polygon Cuts + Tactical Mage + Destruction Orbs + Kinetic Tremors + Recharge Mastery
Multimach isn't exactly known as a PvE weapon, but rolling Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors is actually pretty good against AI fighters. Imagine having a 900 RPM auto that can power up abilities, trigger Force Sphere effects, and deal AoE damage. Guns like the Immortal and the Ikelos SMG certainly have the best synergy in the class, but a Multimach with this combination of perks is also great for many builds.
Attrition Orbs can help restore ability energy and trigger effects that require Orbs of Power. At the same time, Kinetic Tremors can deal additional damage to targets as well as trigger Orbs of Attrition. Just keep in mind that Attrition Orbs have an internal cooldown, so don't expect to be swimming in Orbs just because Kinetic Tremors triggers.
Rose
- Fluted Barrel + Accurized Ammo + Slide Shot + Explosive Payload + Smooth Grip + Mastery of Control
Players who fought to get the rose Destiny 2 will want to grab this one. Slide shot and explosive charge are the best perks in PvP, and they're not bad in PvE either. It's an incredibly well-rounded shot, and while it could use a different barrel and skill, it's a very good gun for the Handcannon enthusiast.
Slideshot partially fills the weapon's magazine and gives the next shot a bonus to range and stability after sliding. The last two bonuses are especially useful in the Crucible, where the winner of a duel is often determined by who strikes first. Meanwhile, Explosive Payload nullifies the damage drop for a portion of the damage from each weapon shot, and causes enemy Guardians to flinch more than usual. It also makes the weapon deal extra damage in PvE fights.

Stasis weapons are surprisingly powerful and versatile in Destiny 2. Here are the Stasis weapons players should add to their collection.
Borrowed kindness
- Smart Drift Control + Tactical Mag + Loose Change + Voltshot + Velocity Masterwork
Voltshot alone is enough to turn any Dobrini drop into a god throw, but combined with Loose Change, this weapon reaches a whole other level. The hit counts as an elemental debuff, and since players will be applying it to every enemy they hit with Voltshot, Loose Change will give Dedebted Kindness greatly improved cooldown, aim assist, and movement speed while being aimed almost all the time.
Voltshot is a kill bonus like Kill Clip. After defeating a target with the Voltshot weapon, the next shot will apply a jolt to the targets. At the same time, Loose Change grants all of the above-mentioned characteristics to the weapon after players defeat enemies with elemental debuffs.
Compass Rose
- Corkscrews + Light Mag + Snapshot Scopes + Slide Shot + Processing Masterpiece
The Compass Rose is one of the best guns in the world Destiny 2 thanks to its high base range and Aim Assist stats. It's usually bogged down by below-average handling, but with the benefits listed above, that shouldn't be a problem. In particular, the Shot + Slide Shot combo will make this weapon an absolute threat in PvP.
Snapshot Sights greatly improve the weapon's ADS speed, and while aiming down doesn't reduce shot spread significantly, it can still help guns feel more consistent, especially when combined with Slideshot and its increased range.

From the VS Chill Inhibitor to the Edge Transit, there are plenty of options for top-notch damage weapons.
Hot Head (adept)
- Hard Launch + Impact Case + Tracking Module + Clown Cartridge + Reload Masterwork
Hothead is popular for its high DPS potential, and while this throw won't deal a lot of damage, players can expect it to be very easy to use, especially against bosses that refuse to stand still. The tracking module is a wonderful perk for Missiles, and while the Clown Cartridge won't increase damage output, it will greatly improve DPS by allowing players to fire more missiles before reloading.
The icing on the cake for this god roll is that it's an Adept Hothead, which means players can insert the Adept Reload mod here to increase the weapon's DPS even more. Don't forget to bring Reserve mods to get more ammo.
VS Chill Inhibitor
The VS Cooldown Inhibitor is one of the new weapons Destiny 2 Vesper's Host dungeon, and it's also one of the best guns to farm. This is due to a combination of the Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch perks, both of which trigger when players hit enemies with other weapons, turning this heavy grenade launcher into an absolute beast when it comes to dealing solid damage.
Envious Arsenal completely fills the weapon magazine, while Bait and Switch increases the damage of the gun. Unload all of the Chill Inhibitor Master on the enemy before tagging them with another weapon. Go back to him and he'll have just loaded up with a damage boost to boot. Repeat the process until all ammo runs out or until the target is defeated.
