It all boils down to this. Our heroes head to the lion's den – what was once the seat of power in the nation of Euchronia – to put an end to Louis' schemes in Metaphor: ReFantazio. As befits such a large area, Skybound Avatar is huge and filled with enemies.

Front room
The enemy |
Notes |
---|---|
Homo Luma |
Weak to Fire and Dark. Has high agility to begin with and uses Fish Fandango to further increase hit and dodge rates. |
Platinum Homo Tenta |
Absorbed all elementsso use Slash, Strike, Pierce and/or Almighty. Toothbrush transactions average Almighty losses to all party members. You can also cast Light and Dark magic spells. |
We start at Entrance to the Royal Palacebut it's your standard “chat with your party members and/or visit More” room. Head in for Front roomthe first real area in Skybound Avatar.
Almost immediately, you will see the path splits east and west. Start with goes west. The Goma Lumas here's the last fish-type enemy, so they can be annoyingly quick to ambush you – make sure they turn around before approaching.
Grab it Gold medal and Mughal Candelabra blue elements, but be careful, as the new version of those pesky ones exploding squid enemies will be placed along the walls in this area. There are also new ones gargoyles fight with.
The
Superior Tainted Twohander
the blue item near the Muggle Candelabra should be evaluated as soon as possible the next time you're in town, as there's a good chance it's a powerful weapon.
Continue north along this west wing of the lounge until you reach a treasure chest with Sealed Gauntlets inside. Once you're done here, return to the hall and go east this time instead.
More blue items here – honestly, there are mountains of them all over Skybound Avatar, so here we go refrain from mentioning every blue item – but in a room similar to the treasure room in the east wing, there is Proletariat Abak Art this chest
The key difference here is that this room connects with its western wall to the new areaso head through the door. A cutscene will start; if the stairs here are blocked, we have no choice but to enter the lower level door.
Royal garden
The enemy |
Notes |
---|---|
Homo Flaemo |
Weak to Electric. Uses Breath of battle raise the characteristics of attack and defense to the maximum. |
Dark Elmenta |
Weak to Light. Like all Elmentas, it runs away the first timeso eliminate it quickly. |
Bloodcoin Imitec |
Weak to Light. As with other Imitecs, you can spend Reeve to distract himbut at this stage of the game you probably don't need to. |
Voidblack Homo Orelon |
They serve as petty sub-bosses. Weak to Electric. No other weaknesses or resistances. Molds Mamududdin for all-party Dark damage and uses strong physical attacks like Mad Rush. |
You are immediately put into battle against a Homo Flaemothe Skybound Avatar version of those eared monster people from the Dragon Temple. Everything is sprouting Royal gardenbut we want to avoid unnecessary clashes with them.
The interesting thing about the Royal Garden, and it honestly makes them easier to avoid than the Dragon Temple, is that Homo Flaemos are in a vast garden maze. It is quite easy to deduce which paths to take to avoid them, even if it seems difficult at first.
The
The east side of the garden has a lot of dirt
that you need to get through. This is less of an obstacle to enemy ambushes than it might seem; remember that
rolling forward accelerates your speed through the swamps.
The first blue item on the east side is this Memento hair clipwhich has DEF 125, boosts magic by 5 and prevents oblivion – so no need to forget to pick him up.
If you need to, you can
run back and forth across the grassy areas
(eg with a Memento pin) until Homo Flaemos reverses course. They will not reach you on solid ground.
You have a dual purpose in the Royal Garden: eliminating two VoidBlack Homo Orelons, one at the ends of the east and west paths respectively. Although the party seems surprised when getting rid of one doesn't work, it's pretty clear what's going on here!
Treasures in the royal garden
The following treasure chests can be found in these approximate locations:
- The southeast corner Royal Garden contains a treasure chest that initiates a battle against a Bloodcoin Imitec. Defeat him for Gloves of God's Worldwhich has DEF 130, Strength +4, Magic +4 and prevents all physical ailments.
- The chest was found roughly in the center, south of the Homo Flaemos blocking the way forward, contains Destroyer's Edgeweapon for Berserkers with ATK 370. It is noteworthy that it can be cleaned to become more powerful.
- The southwest corner the chest of the Royal Garden has Angels of the gambler for Counterfeiters with ATK 350 allowing all normal attacks become critical hits. The downside is that the HIT is 50.
- Chest about the middle of the west wall has another Bloodcoin Imitec. His reward is a Katana of ghostly light for Thieves with ATK 410. Equipped with it, normal attacks gain proximity to fire.
Sub-Boss: Grotesque Chimenzan
When you finish dealing both Voidblack Homo Orelons, head forward into the middle room that is now available and you will encounter Grotesque Chimenzan.
Grotesque Chimenzan |
This is more of a “real” sub-boss. Weak to ice and The wind. It uses Breath of battle pick it up Attack and defense to the maximum and can also heal yourselfwhich will naturally slow the fight down by a couple of turns. It can cast off Gabu deal highly Fire party damage. Tear up this is a serious physical attack on a single target. |
After the battle you will return to Front roombut the stairs are cleared. Go through the newly opened door, cross the bridge over the Royal Garden, and you'll be in Royal passage. Save on Mughal Hollowand when you are ready to move on, go north.

Here's how to beat Homo Fulquilo in Nord Mines in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Palace corridor
Moldylich |
Weak to A strike. Reflects all elemental attacks. Powerful composition Light and Dark spells, and can lower the defense of each simultaneously with Vidyartha. |
Ziakropas |
Weak to The wind. |
at this point, Skybound Avatar becomes non-linear – you have doors to the east and to the west, each containing full sections. These are completely different zones, as you will see. Let's start with the left door that leads to the west.
You have to keep fighting with
Imitation of blood
in their chests as they progress through the dungeon, not only for loot, but also after they
the heavenly waters are often thrown
for purification. in fact,
you can steal it from them
too.
Here, in the village Palace corridormany doors await you located through a winding corridor it can be more than a little disorienting. At first it will look like your worst nightmare.
Fortunately, there is a key to understanding the Palace Corridor that will make the whole thing quite manageable: the blue door leads to the right and the red door to the left. As long as you understand this basic fact, it is almost clear shot to the finish line.
The continuation of the trick comes from how sometimes you have to turn the other way first to continue on its route to the east or west. If you can't move on, try the door that leads to the opposite sideno matter how unreasonable it may seem.
Treasures in the corridor of the palace
Here you will find the following chests:
- Chest a little to the west with an entrance hall containing a Blood Imitecthough with his defeat you will gain Lance of the Old Godwith ATK 370; it can be cleaned.
- At st the far western edge and at the bottom of the screenthere is one more Blood Imitec inside the trunk. This time your prize is a Snow macewith ATK 390. Increases Light attack power.
- Yes northeast a chest appears with Totsuka's Blade for Warriors. It can be cleared and has 370 ATK.
Subboss: Leographon
Leografon |
Weak to Pierce. Resists Fire, Ice, and Light. Frightening The wind. Uses The cry of the soul to get four spin icons, Breath of battle will increase dramatically Attack and defense. Has attacks Fire, ice, electricity, and The wind. |
Banquet hall
And now something completely different: the Banquet hall. If you see the screenshot above, you will know how this place is small. Indeed, it is not a vast labyrinth, as in the previous chapters, but a single large room with two wings above.
The turn is like this Once you enter the banquet hall, you are given five minutes to find and destroy the five muggle flowers. You will find them in the following places:
- The south room below.
- The north room below.
- The east room below.
- At st north upper wing.
- At st south upper wing.
As you should be able to dispatch every enemy the Mist Flowers send in world combatyou don't have to worry about real battles. Just don't underestimate the range some of these skeletons can attack from.
That's really all there is to the sub-boss; if you feel short of time, refrain from detours for all blue objects until you complete the task of destroying every Muggle flower.
Sub-Boss: Gupdetron
Gupdetron |
Weak to Pierce and ice. Frightening Fireand uses Breath of battle for ordinary Attack and defense increases. Uses serious physical and fire attacks |
Like the other Skybound Avatar sub-bosses, Gupdetron is a bit of a joke. With a side that can grab the lead on their own dual weaknesses to Pierce and Iceyou must have big problems reducing his health by a third or even just over half before he gets his turn.
Corridor – Ruins
After the banquet hall – or after the palace corridor if you did the opposite – you will be sent away by an unlocked staircase and through another door into Royal passage. Another Mughal Hollow here for your enjoyment.
When you enter the last area of Skybound Avatar, Corridor – Ruinsit's just a direct passage forward until a cutscene occurs. After the video, Zorba appears, and a showdown with Louie's chief footman ensues.
Check out our guide to how to beat melancholy zorba wrap things up – after the boss fight, more cutscenes to come, and Skybound Avatar is coming to an end.
