Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is like a Pokemon game
There are over a hundred echoes to be found in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
In order to have at least some similarity Pokemon, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom some form of creature gathering would have to be included. While not traditional creature collecting, players can use Zelda's Tri Rod to study the echoes of various objects and creatures scattered across Hyrule. These echoes can then be summoned at any time to aid players in traversal and combat, with objects usually serving as traversal echoes and creatures as combat echoes. When a creature's echo is summoned, it automatically attacks all nearby enemies, giving Zelda much-needed help in battle. Considering that's pretty much what players can do with their Pokemon in a Pokemon game, the resemblance is striking.
There are more than just a few reviews to be found Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomhowever, as its Hyrule boasts a whopping 127 echoes in the form of objects and monsters for players to find. Players will quickly learn just how extensive this arsenal is as they pick up new echoes left and right within the first few hours of play. Just like it can be in a Pokemon game, it's exciting to learn a whole new echo in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdomsimply because of the new opportunities that often open up after receiving. however, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom takes this “gathering of beings” for everything Pokemon ever did, allowing players to collect and summon objects that can aid them in their research.
Players can even show their Echoes to NPCs in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom as their Pokemon
One striking similarity is that Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom seems to shamelessly share with Pokemon can be observed in several side quests obtained in the game. As players explore Hyrule, they may occasionally encounter individuals who want to see certain echoes with their own eyes, and talking to them will start a side quest. As long as players have collected the requested echo, they can summon it in front of the quest giver to complete or complete a side quest. Some NPCs want to see different versions of the monster in which the quest consists of several stages. Others, however, prefer to see an object – such as a floating tile.
It's a fun way to encourage players to get as many echoes as possible, but
Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
this is not the first game to implement such an idea.
Since the liberation of Red pokemon and Blue pokemonplayers were able to encounter NPCs requesting to see a specific Pokémon while starting a side quest. In the early games, all players had to do was have the desired Pokemon in their party and the quest would be completed, giving them a reward in return. Considering Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom does much the same with its echoes, even more so Pokemon than simply in its “creature gathering” game mechanics. Games should not be Pokemon in order to have similar features but Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom seems like just an attempt to flatter the phenomenon of creature collecting, which is already more than 25 years old.
