Phantom blood
Sections: 44
The very first part Jojo, Phantom bloodis a fairly short story chapter that largely acts as an introduction to the series and its characters, most notably the Joestar family and the sneaky troublemaker known as Dio. Set in Victorian England, Phantom Blood follows Jonathan, a polite and well-mannered young man who ends up in a heated rivalry with the mysterious Dio, who becomes extremely powerful after harnessing the power of the stone mask.
While it's common to say that newcomers to the series can skip Phantom Blood if they find it too slow or uninteresting, the truth is that there's a lot in these few chapters that will be referenced much later, so it's still worth it departure

Fighting tendency
Chapters: 69
While it was clear that Araki was still figuring out the identity of the series in Part 1, the Fighting tendencyset in America a year before the start of World War II, he began to more confidently refine the characters and the world. As a result, this part contains a lot more content than Phantom blood with a flamboyant new protagonist, Joseph, who gets involved in all kinds of strange and chaotic situations during his adventures.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Manga moments that were censored in the anime
Not everything from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga made it into the anime. Here are some moments that were censored.
While the episode begins by showing Joseph's everyday life as a rebellious and cocky teenager, once he is tutored by Lisa Lisa and forms an unlikely bond with Caesar, the stakes begin to rise as he soon finds himself forced to confront a new group of enemies known as the Pillar Men . Battle Tendency is part of a series that gives fans more than enough content to enjoy it without ever feeling like it's expected.

Running on a steel ball
Chapters: 95
Running on a steel balloften touted by many fans as the best installment of the entire series, is the seventh installment Jojo's Amazing Adventures which follows Johnny, a paraplegic ex-jockey who is looking for a way to somehow regain the use of his legs. Considering Running on a steel ball is essentially a reboot of the story, this meant that Araki was able to create an entirely new adventure with only subtle references to the previous installments. However, instead of going too far with a lot of new ideas and concepts, the talented author managed to fit a truly epic and quite emotional story into less than 100 chapters.
As a result Running on a steel ball feels like a compelling and satisfying installment of a series that always moves at a steady pace, ensuring that readers are never bored and that the story never drags on without saying anything. In addition to the appropriate length, Running on a steel ball also stands out for its villain, Funny Valentine, who will hopefully be making an animated appearance very soon.

Jojolion
Chapters: 110
By time Jojolion rolled around, the series was now published in Ultra Jump, a seinen magazine that was allowed to be published monthly instead of weekly. This allowed Araki to present a story that was slower, resulting in Jojolion; a strange and wonderful story about a young man known only as “Josuke”.
As Josuke wakes up with amnesia, having no idea who he is or where he came from, much of the story is devoted to solving this mystery. Josuke usually ends up in some pretty dangerous situations, like going up against the patriarch of a ruling family, just to try and put the pieces together and find out who he really is. Even though it's been a long time coming, many fans have been wanting it Jojolion there were only a few extra chapters to show off their main villain, Thor, a bit more, as he appears very suddenly at the end.
4
Stardust Crusaders
Chapters: 152
Although it is the longest installment of the anime, Stardust Crusaders lands in the middle of the road when considering all the chapters of the manga, but it is still long enough to read. It makes sense, though, given that the third installment is supposed to be a globe-trotting adventure where Jotaro and his gang visit many different countries in hopes of eventually arriving in Cairo to confront Dio, who has awoken from his slumber to avenge the Jostar family .

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Every Ending Song Rating
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure has several songs with incredible endings, but not all of them are equally amazing.
While this installment initially starts out in a monster-of-the-week format, it ends up becoming much more focused as each member of the main cast gets a decent amount of development throughout the adventure. At the end, fans really feel like they've just reached the finish line of an epic journey they'll never forget, so the length of this part really works in its favor.
3
Golden wind
Chapters: 155
Golden wind is often seen as one of the most divisive parts of the story, primarily because of how strange some of the powers would become, particularly King Crimson. However, considering how long it is, every fan will still be able to find at least a few parts to enjoy, as there is still a lot to love, especially when the story focuses on Jorn and his connection to Bucharati and the rest of the gang.
Golden wind introduces a large number of new characters that help continue the story, giving Giorno and his friends new tasks, including rescuing the daughter of a sad boss, whom the gang tries to protect from a variety of evil henchmen. While the initial mission is to destroy the drug culture that has taken over the city of Naples, the story soon grows into something much bigger, especially after the appearance of the Devil, the main villain.
2
Stone ocean
Chapters: 158
Including only 3 sections more than the part that came before, Stone ocean is the second longest installment of the entire series and essentially acts as the finale of the original timeline. Because of this, Araki would have to tie up quite a few loose ends in this particular arc, including setting up the relationship between Jotaro and Jolin and showing the lasting impact that Dio had on the world, or rather his followers.
Stone ocean also tackles some pretty complicated ideas that Araki took a while to really nail down, especially the whole concept of Poochi Heaven and how it leads to a whole new timeline. needless to say Stone ocean the story can't just fit into a few volumes, which is why it had to be stretched out for so long in the end.
1
A diamond is indestructible
Chapters: 174
Who would have guessed that a part of the story that takes place in the small and sleepy town of Morio could turn out to be so long? The truth is that Araki took his time when he wrote A diamond is indestructiblechoosing to give readers a feel for the environment first rather than rushing into the action. As a result, many chapters are literally dedicated to Josuke and his friends hanging out in malls or messing around with their booths. At the same time, since the installment spends a lot of time developing its supporting characters, including Rohan, who many consider to be Araki's understudy himself, it also adds to the length.
While the stakes in this particular part of the story aren't very high for much of it, once the creepy Yoshikage Kira first appears, the story heats up and starts to feel a lot more familiar. That said, it's still an installment that can be a bit difficult to reread in its entirety due to the amount of content it contains, although it also allowed the cast of this installment to shine, given how they all manage to share the spotlight equally.
