Things came to a head when the disgruntled Saiyans, seeing the conditions in which they lived, began to yearn for the prosperity enjoyed by the Tuffles. While the Tuffles enjoyed a life of plenty, the physically strong Saiyans struggled to survive in the desolate parts of the planet. It was this inequality that caused the Saiyans to take what was rightfully theirs.
It was here that the powerful Saiyan Commander-in-Chief had an idea of how he could defeat the Tuffles and obtain their vast cities and technology. The Tuffles knew about the Saiyans, but it was also believed that the threat did not become very serious as the concept of their technology was believed to be functional. This is because through their brute force was a willingness to wage war at any cost. There it is, the Saiyan-Shoe War – a battle between brute force and technological might.
Brute force vs. technological superiority
The Saiyans and Tufls fought a long and bloody war in which both sides suffered heavy losses. How the war ended and the consequences
The Saiyan-Shield War ended in an absolute victory for the Saiyans, destroying the Tiel civilization in their Great Ape form and conquering the planet Plant. Once a highly developed and thriving species in the past, they were driven to total destruction, completely destroying the cities and technology built with them.
In honor of the first Saiyan King, King Vegeta, the former Planet Plant was renamed Planet Vegeta by the Saiyans after the war. The destruction of the Tuffles gave the Saiyans the opportunity to gain control of the planet and of course all the advanced technology the Tuffles possessed. This technology was a major factor in the further conquests the Saiyans planned to make to gain further control of the galaxy and become a formidable force in the universe.

The Saiyan-Tufel war was of great importance in the turning point of Saiyan history. The war made the Saiyans the dominant species, and for the first time they gained advanced technology to aid them in their intergalactic conquests. This whole victory also highlighted the cruel and destructive nature of the Saiyans, who killed an entire civilization just to gain dominance.
