The rumors surrounding Dr Disrespect were true: YouTube streamer joins Rumble. The popular streamer has a live page on Rumble, and it will finally be his new streaming home after losing his ability to monetize YouTube. The streamer also revealed that he will have a stake in the company, making him a co-owner.
Herschel “Guy” Beam IV, best known for his streaming program Dr Disrespect, has had a tumultuous past few years. After being banned from Twitch in 2020, his channel was demonetized on YouTube and removed from the Partner Program in June 2024. It has been revealed that the massive streamer allegedly contacted a minor in his DMs on Twitch, sending “inappropriate” messages and trying to meet them at TwitchCon. So it was likely only a matter of time before Dr. Disrespect needed to find a new platform for his channel.

Dr Disrespect fans continue to donate thousands of dollars to the streamer
Despite recent controversy with the popular streamer, new data suggests that fans are still donating thousands of dollars to Dr. Disrespect.
Rumble welcomed the streamer with open arms, with Chris Pawlowski excitedly tweeting that “a great creator is coming” that will bring a bunch of new people to the platform. November 25, 2024 Beam sent a message to his followers via social media: “Sincerely grateful for the opportunity to help develop a new, hungry platform that represents the values I align with. No more cancellation of culture, no more suppression. Let's get back to what I've always done… have fun!” This post included the hashtag #RumbleTakeover.
Dr Disrespect talks about Move to Rumble
The move to the Rumble for the streamer is seen by some as unexpected. With Dr Disrespect no longer able to monetize his content on YouTube despite being one of the biggest streamers, it's no surprise that he was looking for a more lucrative contract. And it looks like he's found one in Rumble, a video-sharing platform that claims to be a “repeal-proof culture” and “committed to protecting a free and open Internet.” Not only will he be able to monetize his content again, but he will also get a stake in the company, making him a partner of the platform. While this contract appears to have exclusivity for its content, Disrespect likely has several other options at the time of writing.
Currently, it appears that Dr Disrespect is already gaining new fans in its new location; without a single stream or video, Beahm already has over 16,000 subscribers. Also, he just announced his move early this morning. While other major sites seem reluctant to pick him up, including the up-and-coming Kick, who Dr Disrespect was in talks with back in August of last year, it looks like Doc may finally be finding a stable, monetized home for his streaming video game again.
