Completing the Nightingale's Hunt Side Quest

After a harrowing escape from the armed forces during the introductory missions, Skiff finally makes it to Zalyssia and meets several NPCs in Stalker 2 heart of Chernobyl. One such NPC is Nightingale, who will call Skiff and ask him if he is willing to complete a mission for him. There are 2 side quests, the last one called “The Nightingale Hunt” which ends in tragedy. How to start a nightingale hunting quest in Stalker 2

Players find Nightingale at the Zalissya base opposite Captain Zotov's officeimmediately after completing several introductory missions in the Stalker 2. He will call players asking them if they are interested in completing a mission for him. After completing the first mission for him, Air Combat, you will need to talk to him again to accept his second side quest, Nightingale Hunt.

Accepting the Nightingale's Hunt side quest will mark two locations on the map where players must venture to and obtain electronic collars from mutant dogs. Here's how you can successfully complete all the objects in the Nightingale Hunt side quest in Stalker 2.

Searching for an electronic collar near Bulba

Players must first head to Bulba's Anomaly to receive the Mutant Dog's first E-Collar during the Nightingale Hunt side quest in Stalker 2. After making your way to the Anomaly, be sure to stay on the edge of the lake and go around it on the left side.

Players will see a mutant dog lying on top of a cliff near the Potato anomaly. You have to carefully approach the lake while the Potato is shrinking to avoid being pulled over. Crouch go to the rock and rob the mutant dog to get the first e-collar for Nightingale.

Destruction of a pack of dogs and removal of the collar

After picking up the Mutant Dog Collar near the Potato Anomaly, turn around and make your way up the hill, as the next object is nearby. Once you make your way to the top, you'll hear gunshots from human enemies shooting at a pack of dogs. Be sure to deal with them first before engaging a pack of dogs.

Once the area is cleared of all human enemies, search for a mutant dog with a blue aura around him. Once you find it, wait for the aura to dissipate and proceed to remove it and remove the collar from the body. You can avoid the other dogs in the pack if you can and run away.

After successfully obtaining 2 e-collars in the side quest, players will hear Nightingale on the radio asking for Skiff's help.

The answer to the Nightingale's call for help

Looking at the map, players will find an objective marker to assist Nightingale to the southwest of their current location. While making their way to where Nightgale is, players will find his dead body in one of the houses. Loot Nightingale's body to find a weapon and some useful items, next to another collar. At this moment, the players are waiting for the Blood Dragon, which must be destroyed.

After defeating the Bloodsucker, loot his body to find the last e-collar. Players can now return to Zalissya to return the collars to Hamyak, the merchant Stalker 2.

Give your hamster electronic collars

On your way back to Zalissya, meet the Hamster merchant and talk to him. He will ask about the Nightingale and you can tell him about the events of your choice as it will not affect the outcome of the Nightingale Hunt side quest.

Giving Hamster collars will mark the completion of the task, and players will receive coupons (the amount depends on the chosen difficulty) as a reward.
