Never in the history of video games have fans been clamoring for a remastering of Bloodborne. Hollow Knight: Silksong is on the way, but there seems to be a monthly clamor for Sony to do something with its beloved 2015 hit.
While there's always hope for the community, Sony is guaranteed to find a way to beat them, with the recent Horizon Zero Dawn remaster and rumors of a Days Gone remaster seemingly the final nail in the coffin.

However, there is a small glimpse of the sun. With PS5 Pro consoles now out in the wild, gamers have found a way lightly to improve Bloodborne, but unfortunately it doesn't look any different.
Bloodborne gets a boost with PS5 Pro
While going through the PS5 Pro options, players found an option to “Improve image quality for PS4 games”, a category that Bloodborne falls squarely into.
So of course, when there was a chance, those lucky enough to receive Sony's mid-gen update tested it on FromSoftware's title and shared the results on ResetEra.
However, to the naked eye the images shared looked almost identical, especially on a phone screen or PC monitor where most are likely to view the images, but it still got the community talking.
Bloodborne fans were so beat up, but there was a bit of excitement that the game was at least getting some level of improvement. Many have flocked to the theme to claim that it looks “slightly better”, “slightly sharper” and has a “slight increase in detail”. It's hardly an exciting reception, but with fans who have been feeding off the crumbs for nearly a decade, it's something.
