In section 686 of Art BLEACHthe final chapter after Ichigo defeats Yhwach to finish A thousand-year bloody war arc, there is a 10 year time jump and we see the aftermath of a great war. The chapter introduces Kazuya Kurosaki, a bright and cheerful little boy of around seven who wears the signature red hair of his father, the main character of the series, Ichigo Kurosaki.
Kazuya's introduction isn't just a marker of the bright future that follows the climactic battle against the Quincy invasion of Soul Society, but an important final event that truly marks the end of not only the war, but the Quincy King himself. Who is Kazui Kurosaki?
Son of Ichigo Kurosaki and Orihime Inoue
A man with Shinigami powers
As the son of Ichigo and Orihime, Kazui is recognized as an extremely powerful character, although he was only seen in brief appearances at the very end of the original series, and a one-time appearance in the Helljaws Echo arc. He is a human with Shinigami ability and, unlike his father, does not need any external device to use his Shinigami powers. He was born ten years after the defeat of Yhwach and lives with his parents in Karakura Town. His shinigami form has the standard shihakushō̄, but he wears his favorite hoodie with it. His Zanpakutó̄ has yet to be fully revealed, but the color scheme and guard reflect the colors of Ichigo's first Zanpakutó̄ in the series, while the guard features the same Manji form seen in the design of Ichigo's original Bankai, Tenso Zangetsu. We don't know Kazui's Zanpakutо̄ name or abilities yet; however, given that Ichigo inherited his Shinigami abilities from his father, Ishin Kurosaki (née Shiba), and the continuation of the Moon-inspired nomenclature of their Zanpakutō̄, it is likely that Kazui's Zanpakutō will have a name related to the Moon in some aspect as well.
Given his father's unique makeup and the fact that both of his parents are Fullbringers, fans like Redditor Zachgetsu have speculated that the Shinigami powers are a manifestation of the Fullbring, and that the object of affinity is his hoodie (it's part of his character description that he likes his hoodie and doesn't like anything else), and his Shihakushō is just revealed over his normal clothes. As stated in Novels “Don't be afraid of your world”.Second generation Fullbringers are rare, but not impossible. During the last chapter of BLEACHset ten years after Ihwah's defeat, Kazui is depicted as a boisterous child who is quick on his feet and usually hangs out at Hiyori Sarugaki's residence, often without permission. While there on this particular occasion, Kazui encounters and touches the remains of Ihwach's reiatsu. He becomes distracted, leading to speculation that Kazui may have the ability to deflect like his mother; abilities so powerful that they can stand against the Almighty. In addition to his Shinigami powers, his father's void aspect gives Kazuya the ability to move between realms at will, and he can use Gargantu to do so.
Personality and temperament
There is nothing he does not like
Kazui is a bright and cheerful boy who is undoubtedly Ichigo's son, but like his slicked-back hair, he is a much happier man than his father, reflecting Ichigo's personality before his mother's death. His facial features also reflect that of his mother, Orihime, and it is her gentle cheerfulness that appears most emphasized in his design. As a testament to his epitome of “kindness”, Kazui canonically loves nothing and interacts with the world through the prism of innocent curiosity above all else.
He is not daunted by the countless souls he encounters; many of whom he sends on his way not with the help of a Cansobut through some other force. In Art No breath from hell with one shot, Kazuya even witnessed the Gate of Hell, but the smile on his face did not diminish. Kazui is clearly a character with a lot of potential to unleash BLEACH A universe with unprecedented power stemming from its kaleidoscopic heritage. Does Kubo have plans for a sequel? BLEACH story with Kazuya at the center, it would certainly be an interesting exploration of the already complex tapestry of “truths” in BLEACH verse which are challenged by characters like Kazui and his father.
