One part of Activision's latest game that is becoming particularly annoying for players is the prominence of smoke grenades.

A common problem in Black Ops 6 is when the map is littered with smoke grenades, which severely impairs visibility. This often happens when players use a thermal scope or melee weapon to kill. This is a major frustration for players, so much so that a recent thread on Reddit has nearly 1,000 upvotes and 350 comments.
The thread's creator, sweatyom, posted it with the message: “I don't know what the answer is or how to fix this, but every match with smoke bombs all over the map is really getting old.”
Smoke grenades have been called a “coward's method” and a “rookie movie”, with one player saying that “smokes are meant to help them individually, not the team”.
User apieceajit comically pointed out how much of a problem this could be, adding: “Pro tip: Combine tactical smokes with a smoke grenade gun for a total of five smoke grenades per life within about eight seconds of spawning” .
Every match with smoke bombs all over the map really gets old.
However, the original publication had some detractors — mostly those using smoke grenades.
