The spy fiction genre can trace its roots all the way back to the early 1800s and has remained a fairly popular genre ever since, with major franchises such as James Bond and Mission impossible still dominates the box office every time a new entry comes out. Naturally, the spy genre found its way into video games, even though the genre is notoriously difficult to adapt. All too often, spy video games try to balance slow-paced espionage with high-octane action, but Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 performs a surprisingly fine balancing act.




Continuing many of the same themes as its Cold War predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's campaign revolves around distrust of political organizations and world leaders, and a gang of ex-CIA agents trying to save the world against all odds.
