Metroid Prime 4: Beyond had one of the hardest development cycles in Nintendo history. Following its initial message on E3 2017 and the following years of silence, Nintendo confirmed that development would start from scratch.
The company removed, then the developers of Bandai Namco and appointed veterans of the Retro Studio series to take responsibility for the game. It seemed to the retro, the team that developed all the previous titles in the Metroid Prime series. However, they followed the silence for more than years.
