Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is the next big release from Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames, a Swedish developer Wolfenstein: The New Order and Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. A game that takes place between events Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusadedescribes the escapades of the main character, who travels around the world to solve the mystery of an artifact stolen from the Vatican. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle contains many real-world locations as game levels, including Thailand, Egypt, the Himalayas, and Shanghai. Unlike previous video game adaptations of Lucasfilm's iconic film franchise, this upcoming Bethesda title utilizes a first-person gameplay perspective, rather than a third-person perspective similar to MachineGames' previous work.
Another aspect worth noting Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is that it features a likeness of Harrison Ford. In the game, Indiana Jones is played by Troy Baker, a respected voice actor best known for his starring roles in films such as Far Cry 4, Tales of Vesperiaand The last of us. Indy's character model and appearance, on the other hand, is based on a young Harrison Ford. While it's great that Bethesda and MachineGames were able to get the award-winning actor's likeness, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle shouldn't be the only future game to feature him. Indeed, Lucasfilm and Disney should try to do Star Wars The game centers entirely around Han Solo, the character Ford portrays in the hit franchise.

Before Harrison Ford cemented his status as a cultural icon with his portrayal of Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Arkthe actor first rose to fame as the smuggler-turned-rebel hero Han Solo in the 1977 film Star Wars. Thanks in no small part to Ford's excellent performance, Han Solo quickly became one of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars universe, second only to Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and Princess Leia. After the success of the first Pd Harrison Ford played Han Solo again in the next four films, incl The Empire strikes back, Return of the Jediand The Force Awakens.

Han Solo has also appeared in countless video games over the years. One of the first appearances he ever made on the medium was in 1992. Super star warswhere he played a minor role as a temporary playable character. More recently, Solo has been featured in titles such as LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, Kinect Star Wars, Disney Infinity 3.0and 2017 Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
It is surprising, however, at 40+ years old that Star Wars video games existed, there wasn't a single noteworthy title that featured Han Solo as the main character. You'd think given the character's immense popularity that some developer would have made a AAA Han Solo game by now, but apparently not. That's why if there's ever a new high-quality video game based on a gun-toting insurgent, it'll be a dream come true, especially if it follows a certain convention of the upcoming indie entry.
A Han Solo FPS similar to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle might be perfect
I like it Indiana Jones and the Great Circleit might be a good idea for a hypothetical Han Solo game to use a first-person perspective. Thus, it can distinguish itself from a recent third person Pd names like Star Wars. Outside the law and Jedi: Survivor. Given the absence Star Wars first-person shooters on the market recently, the single-player title Han Solo in spirit SW: Dark forces or SW: Republic Commando has the potential to stand out among its peers. And honestly, if MachineGames can succeed Indiana Jones and the Great Circlethen maybe it's best for a Star Wars FPS with Harrison Ford's favorite character.
