By the end of the series, Bakugou had clearly become one of the most powerful characters My Hero Academyand by the time he reaches adulthood, he will likely become even stronger, potentially surpassing even All Might.

Bakugou is way above his ultimate level of military power

Fans recently watched My Hero Academy characters as adults in chapter 431. By now, all the Heroes seem to have grown up quite a bit and become the cornerstone of Hero society. Bakugou himself is one of the most impressive Heroes out there, even if his rank doesn't seem to reflect that. It was revealed that Bakugou debuted in the Hero Rankings at number 4, but as time went on, he kept falling in the rankings.

Looks like Bakugou has sunk even further! – Aizawa

Bakugo is currently in 15th place, which is a shame. But this rating does not reflect its strength at all. Bakugou's low rating is due to his hot-tempered and aggressive nature. Despite this, Bakugou always has good intentions and does everything he can to save those who live in need. Bakugo has grown tremendously over the years. At one point, he prioritized only winning, and saving people was second to him. However, Bakugou now values both of these things equally, so the number one ranking is no longer important to him.

Bakugo's form

With that out of the way, fans can talk about how strong he is right now. At the end of c My Hero Academyfans saw Bakugo give his all in the battle against All For One and he definitely surprised everyone. It showcased Bakugou's incredible intelligence and at the same time his strength after reviving his Quirk. After Awakening, Bakugou was able to go all out and take on even the likes of All for One in battle, which was truly stunning. But even more astounding was the fact that Bakugou was able to do this while in a severely weakened state. Bakugo clearly stated that he felt pain in every cell of his body and that he was already on the verge of death. This version of Bakugou was far from the best, but he was able to do something as incredible as defeating everyone for one. Over the years, Bakugou probably gained more control over his Quirk and became even stronger.

Can an adult bakugo outdo them all?

Outclassing Bakugo Kamino All Might is a guarantee

The question of whether Bakugou will be able to surpass All Might is quite an interesting one, and the answer to that question is definitely yes. Of course, you could say that All Might All Might is almost mythical in the world of My Hero Academia. He was nearly unstoppable at his best, and even the version fans saw in the first season of the series was pretty strong. His performance against Nomu and later against All For One at Kamino was absolutely flawless. But this version of All Might was certainly not the strongest and could easily be outclassed by the likes of Izuku and Bakugou.

In fact, as an adult, Bakugou has taken his Quirk to a new level, and his explosive strength combined with his brilliant mind should be enough to get him to a level where he can fight All Might and potentially even surpass him.

Why did I have to be the one to finish off All Might? – Bakugo

Of course, Prime All Might is a different matter altogether, and it's highly likely that Bakugou won't surpass that level, but he'll still come very close. But another argument could lead to Bakugo becoming even stronger and potentially approaching the level of Prime All Might. After all, the quirks grow stronger with each generation, as does the hero society as a whole.

My Hero Academia fans are enraged by the image of Adult Deku

Deku's portrayal at the end of MHA upset many fans. Here's what Togashi did with his character and why.

Also, quirks aren't the only thing that evolves over time. Science is also evolving and that was made pretty clear to fans in My Hero Academia Chapter 430. As All Might himself has pointed out, science has advanced dramatically over the years and the level it is at is seen even by an unsophisticated person like Deku competing with the likes of Bakugou and others at the highest level.

Why Science Can Help Push Bakugo

With the new hero equipment, Bakugo can surpass all powers

Hero gear has always been a part of Bakugou's fighting style. It's no surprise to know that Bakugou uses the hero's gear even as an adult. But given that he hasn't been seen exactly in action, exactly how he uses them now remains unknown. Despite this, the fact is that science has come a long way in the last 8 years, and now the power that Bakugo possesses is likely to be further enhanced by his hero equipment. It was because of this advancement in science that Bakugo could get a big boost in power. Bakugou could easily be pushed past the level of the Almighty that fans saw in the early parts of the series, and closer to the first-class level of this heroic figure. Naturally, Bakugou's ranking isn't an accurate reflection of this, but what fans saw of him in Final War Saga was definitely very impressive, and if it's amplified many times over, fans can see him reach a very high level like to Symbol of peace.

If My Hero Academia ever gets a sequel in the form of a movie, one-shot, or miniseries, fans can only hope that they get to see how strong Bakugou is as an adult, and what powers he truly possesses. It will also be interesting to compare him to heroes like Prime All Might and see if he can actually go beyond that level or not. For now, fans will just have to wait because there isn't one My Hero Academy plans to continue, at least for now. All fans know is that Horikoshi is planning a new series, and more information about it will eventually be revealed to fans, possibly even at Jump Festa.
