One Piece's Egghead Arc Return Date Confirmed

The One Piece anime is on hiatus. However, a return date for the Egghead arc has now been confirmed.

Closer to the end of c One Piece In chapter 1134, fans saw two mysterious characters appear on Elbaf, and they will surely act as the main antagonists in this part of the story. Of course, their identities still remain undisclosed, even if one of them looks a lot like the fans.

  • Shanks' doppelgänger appeared on Elbaf

  • Another hooded individual is a big mystery

As was seen at the end of c One Piece chapter 1134, the Elbaf arc now has a core set of villains. If there was one thing that Elbaf's arch One Piece was missing, it was a corresponding antagonistic group. This is not to say that Oda failed to get this aspect of the story right in Elbaf. But that just meant that fans would have to wait a bit before they started appearing in the story, and the adventure aspect of the arc was over. Oda took his time exploring the various levels of Elbaf, and the astral world was left to a later stage of the arc.

I want to tell about one pirate. – Shanks' double

regardless of whether One Piece chapter 1134 gave fans their first look at the main antagonists of this arc, and both of them are connected to the World Government. At the very end of the chapter, a massive summoning circle was seen on the second level of Elbaf, the World of the Sun. This summoning circle is very similar to the one used in the Egghead Arc and from which Horasei spawned. This leads one to believe that this ability is related to either a member of the Five Elders, or possibly even Imu. Through this challenge round, fans saw the appearance of two characters, and one of them was introduced by fans in the One Piece Chapter 907.

Then a mysterious cloaked man was seen meeting with the five elders. Fans mistook this character for the red-haired Emperor Shanks due to the identical appearance. However, fans now know that this character is not actually Shanks, but a completely different person.

The connection between Shanks and Elbaf's scoundrels

Shanks is the brother of the main villain, Elbaf

As friends know, Shanks is currently sailing the seas with the Red Pirates. He is not in Elbaf and has already left the place quite some time ago, completing various missions. Obviously, this person can't be Shanks, but it's definitely someone who looks exactly like him, and that's where the confusion begins. The truth is that this man is related to Shanks by blood. He's Shanks' twin brother, and as fans know, St. Garling Figarland actually has more than one child. In Kuma's flashback of the Egghead Arch, there were many hints that St. Garling has several children.

Watch carefully, children! – Garling Figarland

How many there are, fans do not know, but at least it can be assumed that Garling had two children. All of his children were present during the God Valley incident, and it was here that Shanks was separated from the Figarland family. Meanwhile, the second child, believed to be Shanks' twin, has remained with the World Government and is now being sent to Elbaf. This character's name has not yet been revealed and will likely be revealed in the One Piece chapter 1135, which means fans will have to wait for its release. However, at least readers already know that this Shanks doppelgänger is Dougie Elbaff's main antagonist.

Relatives

One Piece: Oda just revealed the strongest family in the series

There are many powerful families in One Piece. This one is the strongest.

Also, there's another person with Shanks who wore a similar cape, and it's clear that this character could potentially be connected to him as well. Although the face doesn't match, fans don't know exactly how many children Garling has, and the fact that she works in tandem with Shanks' look-alikes makes it seem like the character may also be related to Shanks.

It is also possible that this character, who most likely works for the Holy Knights, is from another Celestial family. While it is unknown which family this may be, fans do know that the Manmeyer family has been introduced before. But, at the same time, it should also be borne in mind that there are many other families in which Oda did not reveal One Piece however, this other woman could have been from either of them. As with Shanks' likeness, fans will likely learn more about her in the next chapter.

What is the future role of Elbaf attackers?

The attackers will cause chaos in the country of Elbaf

The future of Elbaf's attackers depends on how Oda chooses to handle this arc. The thing is, it doesn't seem likely that they'll fight right away in Elbaf, the way things are going. This is because there are too few of them and they cannot stand up to the power of the Giant Warrior Pirates combined with the Straw Hat Pirates and of course the likes of Loki. An all out battle between these two individuals and the entire alliance on the other side looks suicidal to say the least. But if God's knights are truly majestic individuals, where each of them is comparable to Yonka, then of course this battle would make sense.

So far, there is nothing to indicate that these individuals are at Yonko's level. It makes you believe that these people are there to deliver a message. Given that they still play an antagonistic role in this arc, this message is most likely a warning from the World Government and information about the impending doom that Elbaf may face. It is likely that these individuals will return to where they came from after the encounter, because they may not be able to be destroyed so soon after being introduced. Fans should keep an eye out for these characters, but above all, remember that they likely aren't going to put up an all-out fight here, at least not without some extra support.

Of course, that doesn't negate their importance to the Elbaf arc, and even if they leave, they'll likely return later when doom descends on Elbaf and Ragnarok officially begins. For now, fans should be thrilled that Elbaf finally has his own set of antagonists, and hopefully things will become clear in time.
