Konohamaru is the exciting part Naruto franchise. Fans have known him since the earliest days of the story, since he was a little boy. Over the years, he has grown up in the eyes of the fans and is now a proud Jonin of the Hidden Leaf Village. Konohamaru is the current leader of Team 7 and is known by fans as an incredibly powerful man, although it can be said that in many ways Konohamaru has failed to live up to the reputation he has established for himself.

Being the grandson of the Third Hokage and the apprentice of the 7th Hokage, fans expected him to do great things. Unfortunately, while in Art Boruta series, he was lackluster, and a lot of that has to do with the fact that the author didn't give him a chance to shine. However, now is the time for Konohamaru Sarutobi to take an important step forward and become much stronger, proving to all fans that he is a worthy contender to be the next Hokage of the village. A huge battle has been set up against him and this is where things finally start to get interesting for this character.

Disappointing performance by Konohamaru in Naruto Next Generations.

Fans have been expecting great things from Konohamaru Sarutobi since the beginning of the game Boruto: Next Generation Naruto series. It has been revealed to fans that Konohamaru will be the leader of Team 7 from the start. This meant that he was essentially taking on the same role as Kakashi for the new generation of ninjas, and as fans know, Kakashi was very impressive throughout the series Naruto series. Unfortunately, Konohamaru didn't get the same treatment as Kakashi from the author. While Kakashi was considered capable and strong enough to take on many powerful threats, Konohamaru was often considered out of sorts. Naturally, fans didn't expect him to stand his ground against enemies on Otsutsuki's level considering they were strong enough to give even Naruto a run for his money. But against weaker enemies, such as those outside of Kara, he largely disappointed. Even against someone as weak as Ao, he couldn't make a strong impression, much to the fans' disappointment.

After that, he was completely cut from the manga and didn't participate in any major missions. This was a huge disappointment for fans and they expected him to never get his proper time in the Boruto manga. Fortunately, things have changed for the better in the Two Blue Vortex series. As fans know, the Two Blue Vortexes series changed the approach to different points in the plot. This also includes how the series deals with side characters. While the Naruto Next Generation series focused entirely on Boruto and Kawaki and neglected the side characters, the Two Blue Vortex series took a completely different approach and decided to work on the shortcomings of the previous manga. As a result, fans have renewed hope that characters like Konohamaru Sarutobi, among others, will get their chance to shine.

Konohamaru will fight Matsuri soon

Until now in Boruto: Two Blue Whirlwinds series, fans have not seen Konohamaru play a significant role in any fights. Sure, he was involved in a small skirmish within the confines of Konoha where he fought Claw Grim, but other than that, he didn't do much. Even in this fight, he didn't show any tricks, but it wasn't a serious fight, so not many fans expected him to show any flashy moves here. Now, however, he has a great chance to impress all readers because he has been assigned an important mission to Hidden Sand Village. The best part about this mission is that there's no Boruto and Kawaka to take all the limelight as they end up in the Boruta series.

It is because of these two individuals, or rather the author's bias towards these two individuals, that has caused all the other characters to remain stagnant until now. But considering they're not involved in this fight and hopefully won't be in the fight going forward, fans can expect big successes from the characters involved.

There is currently a big problem in the Hidden Sand Village. The fifth Kazekage, Gaara, was sealed away by his own adopted son, Shinki, to save his life. Meanwhile, Shinki was turned into a tree by Claw Grimes and a humanoid Shinju called Ryu was born using his chakra. Ryu and Matsuri now head to the Hidden Sand Village in an attempt to destroy and destroy Gaara, the 5th Kazekage.

Naturally, the Hidden Sand Village asked Konoha for help, and so Shikamaru, the 8th Hokage, sent a team of Konohamaru, Mitsuki, and Sarada. Considering he's right in front of her, a battle between these two characters is inevitable. It will be a battle of high stakes and high emotional value. First and foremost, this is Konohamaru's chance to shine in battle. He is going to fight Matsuri to the best of his abilities and may even defeat her single-handedly, leaving the other four ninja to deal with Ryu. In those 3 years, Konohamaru probably got even stronger.

Fans don't know what abilities he has up his sleeve, but considering he is the grandson of the Third Hokage, fans can expect a similar fighting style. It is possible that he is a user of all five elements and a master of many powerful techniques. Fire style should be his strongest and he is expected to use many of these abilities. It is also possible that he has worked hard on the Rasengan and developed additional versions of this technique that can deal lethal damage to his enemies. Fans expect these tricks from him in the near future.

Most importantly, fans can potentially see him use the power of Sage Mode given that he has a frog summon. In 3 years, he could easily learn sage mode, which Naruto often uses in battle. This, combined with his immense genius, should see him hold his own against Matsuri. It's also possible that his version of sage mode is something special and allows him to access an even higher form of power. It must be remembered that Matsuri is a threat that cannot be destroyed easily, and is incredibly strong compared to the average ninja.

Actually, it shouldn't be a stretch to compare her to Otsutsuki. So in order to defeat her, he'll need to access a higher form of power, which means an enhanced sage mode is on display here, which is sure to light up this battle. Fans can't wait for Konohamaru to get the shine he deserves in the Boruto series and show everyone why he is worthy of being Hokage in the future.
