In addition to all the celebrations, the event on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft brings players many secrets to uncover. Among the mysteries of Zul'Gurub, Naxramas, and the Mysteries of Azeroth, having hidden items to discover is becoming increasingly popular among players.
In addition to the Guest Relations storyline, there are also a series of holiday boxes scattered across Azeroth. To start looking for the chests, you'll need to talk to Alyx outside the Caverns of Time and ask her to do more difficult trials. Players are only given vague hints on where to start their quests, and if you're having trouble finding these crates, this is where you should go.
Updated on November 27, 2024. By Paul Woodward: In connection with the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft progressed, gradually new holiday boxes become available for players to find. Now that players are working on solving the Felcycle puzzle, all the holiday boxes are available. If players want to get all the achievements that are part of this event, they will want to find all the crates. It's also a good source of some extra Bronze Celebration Tokens, as you get them every time you give away crates.

World of Warcraft: All Mountain Dew Rewards (and How to Get Them)
As part of a recent Mountain Dew promotion, there are a few items that players can get in World of Warcraft.
Celebration Chest in Tanaris
There is actually a Celebration Box near the Caverns of Time where all celebrations take place. Go to the shoreline where the Doomwalker is patrolling. Drink the watery breath potion, then go southeast down to the row of buildings. There will be a level 83 shark roaming around in the water, so be careful not to bite it.
Enter the larger building on the right and swim up to the second floor. There will be a celebration box behind one of the beds.
Festive box of thousands of needles
This holiday box is a bit tricky because you have to go to two different areas to get it. Head to Fizzle and Pozik's speed barge, then fly or swim southwest to reach the Sunken Excavation Site. Swim down to the Silithid Hive. The hive is quite large, so you should make sure you have a water breathing potion on hand to avoid drowning.
Once inside the hive, turn right and then go straight to a dead end with a pipe. Next to the pipe you will see a note that you can interact with. Take the note, then head to Azsuna, an area in the Shattered Isles. There will be a vendor named Vashti who wanders the long road on the eastern edge of Azsuna that runs from the Shattered Shrine to the bridge that leads to Suramar. To get the Holiday Box, you must buy it from this vendor for 500 gold.
Celebration Chest in the Forgotten Cellar
If you're not familiar with the place, the Forgotten Vault is the vault behind Karazhan in Deadwind Pass. Go down the stairs to the Forgotten Vault to find the Holiday Box.
Go past the well and down Beggar's Walk. Eventually, Pauper's Walk will split into two directions. Go right and go down until you reach another place where the path splits again. Go left and go down until you reach a large chamber with a pile of dirt and bones. On the far right side of this room, you'll come across a part of the basement that's underwater. Swim to the other shore (you don't have to go underwater) and enter the chamber. In the far left corner of this room, you'll see a crate that you can interact with to get a quest. Talk to Alyx to complete this quest.
Celebration Chest in Zuldazar
In Zuldazar you will find a Dive Bar at the bottom of the river at coordinates 54.3, 54.5. Talk to Nikto and buy the Clam Digger. Swim up to find a shell with the name, Gerald. Talk to him and offer him the Clam Digger. The sink will open and inside you will find a festive box. Return it to Alyx for five Bronze Holiday Tokens.
Celebration Chest in Desolace
You can only find a holiday box in the void if you are dead. While in this zone, either fall from a jumper at a distance where you will die instantly, get killed by the mob, or drown. If you become a ghost, go to the Kodo Graveyard, near the Cenaria Wildlands. The chest will be at 54.2, 58.1.
Celebration Chest in Flying Fjord
The Celebration Crate in Howling Fjord requires you to use a tricked thinking cap to find the Celebration Crate. However, if you just want to find the chest and skip all the steps in between, go to the cave entrance that is northwest of Gjalerbronn on the map.
You know you're in the right place when you see a large wolf in a cave. Instead of going into the cave, go right to spot a Holiday Box hiding behind a rock.
Celebration Chest in Mount Hijal
The seventh festive box is located on Mount Hijal. To the west of Esina Grove, you'll find a patch of forest that isn't burning. In this area, there is a trampoline that is part of the daily quest, and a holiday box is next to it.
Celebration Chest in Ferolas
To find this holiday box, you must first travel to the Ash Forest. About the middle of the zone is a large volcano with a fire elemental known as Lord Magomatar at the top. He is a quest objective for lower level players in Ashenvale, so ignore him. Behind it you will see a blue potion. Interacting with this potion gives you a 30 minute buff.
With this buff, you will be able to see the Holiday Box in Ferolas. Do not use the flight point or leave Kalimdor, as doing any of these actions will cause you to lose the buff. While there is a part of this puzzle that involves finding clues in Ferolas, if you just want to find the chest, head to Dire Maul. The Holiday Box can be found at X,Y (60,35). If you don't have the coordinate addon, the crate is near a wall in the long open corridors of Dire Maul before you reach the middle courtyard.
Celebration Box in Nagrand (Abroad)
Go through the portal to Shattrath and head west to Nagrand ( It is being clarified version, no Warlords of Draenor). Fly to the southwest corner of the area where you will see a large white rock formation in the middle of a pile of runes. This structure is known as Oshu'gun. The entrance is on the north side of Oshu'gun.
Go down until you reach the central chamber with the floating orc ancestors. The chest is on the right, near the doorway on the other side of this room.
Celebration Chest in Stormheim
To get this box, go to Ahn'Qiraj: The Fallen Kingdom, a small area south of the Scarab Wall in Silithus. On the southwest coast, you'll find a cave entrance with a couple of trees around it. Summon a dog battle pet (such as a cheeky pug) and go into the cave.
Deep inside this cave you will find a large red dragon named Andrestraz. Go behind this dragon and approach the bones. Your pet will approach the ground in the middle of the bones and a heart will appear above its head. At this point, a skeleton will appear. Loot the skeleton to get Mysterious Bones.
Once you've done that, head to Stormheim in the Shattered Isles. Head to the location in the image above to find an unmarked grave. Use the mystery dice and you'll get a holiday box.
Celebration Chest in Maldraxus
The last Holiday Box is in Maldraxus, an area in the Shadowlands. From Oribos, choose a flight path to any Maldraxxus point. When you arrive, make your way to the Primus Residence.
Fly to the upper level, which is essentially the knees of a giant statue. To the right of the portal you will see a holiday box. If you find all the holiday boxes and give them to Alyx, you'll unlock the Crate Insurance Agent and No Crate Abandoned achievements. Depending on your progress in the Guest Relations quest line, you will also earn the title of Detective.
