The Vatican in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle full of mysteries to find, puzzles to solve and locked safes to open. While some locked chests or safes are easier to crack as the note usually has a combination written on it, others are more difficult and require players to solve the mystery before finding the required code.

Regardless of the difficulty, here it is all codes you need to unlock locked chests and safes located inside the Vatican Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

All secure codes and combinations in the Vatican

There is 7 locked safes and chests located in the Vatican region Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Most are related to a mystery, while others are related to a field quest that players must embark on to obtain their combination. Here are all the safe codes and what each safe contains:

Locked chest in Belvedere courtyard

Once players obtain the Clerk's Key and enter the Vatican, they will see a tent directly ahead of them with the aforementioned locked chest in the Belvedere Courtyard. This will require you to find a ticket fixer in one of the drawers that has a combination front and back.

A chest in the Vatican crypt

Players will gain access to the Vatican Crypt during the “Wild Discovery” fieldwork, which ends with a skirmish with a Nazi soldier. After taking him down, players will receive a note from his body that contains the key to the combination of a locked chest in the Vatican basement.

Sistine Chapel under the castle

This locked safe is part of the Vatican mystery Secret of Secrets, in which players find astronomical symbols under two statues in a room. Once you've found the signs, you must cross-reference them with the table found in the desk drawer to come up with the code.

Closed chest of the museum wing

A locked chest in a soldier's tent in a closed part of the museum wing is part of the “Commemorative Date” mystery in the Vatican. It involves players figuring out the current delivery date from the manifest and deciphering the code behind it from a cypher lookup table.

The excavation site is closed

This safe can be opened as part of a field quest called Signs of Trouble. It can be started by taking a note from Gina in the altar of the Sistine Chapel.

The Borgia Tower is closed

Near the end of the Nun in Distress field quest, Indy receives a key from Sister Juliana. By reaching Borgio's courtyard and using the key on the door, players will be able to open the safe, solving the Polybius Square puzzle, which is part of the Father and Son mystery.

Vault of the Vatican Museum in the castle

Heading to the forbidden part of Via Di Belvedere, players will enter the museum's vault and can find the code to the safe by turning off the lamp nearby.
