Path of exile 2 was released into early access, providing not only a full-length 3-act campaign, but also a full endgame system that players can grind as well. With a notoriously robust character customization tree that allows for limitless build creativity, players can tackle the challenges of Wraeclast however they see fit.
Throughout the player's journey through the campaign, various challenges will provide players with constant upgrades to their characters, including additional skill points, free resistances and lives, and more. While some of these bonuses are awarded for completing quests, many others are awarded for killing optional bosses and completing missed interactions not recorded in the player's quest log.

Path of Exile 2: All main quests and activities
Here is a list of all quests and their rewards in Path of Exile 2.
All permanent bonuses from the company
Permanent bonuses received in the campaign can represent a significant part of the character's power, both offensively in the form of additional passive skill points from the set of weapons, spirit and mana regeneration, and defensively in the form of maximum life, resistances and increased generation of enchantment charge. Additionally, these skippable targets can also unlock basic crafting options such as the Salvage Bench and the Forge Bench. In total, permanent bonuses from the company include:
- 24 passive skill points of the weapon set
- Resistance to fire, cold and lightning 20%.
- 20 maximum service life
- 8% increase in maximum lifetime
- 100 spirits
- Two options: Increase elemental disease threshold by 30% or increase mana regeneration rate by 25%.
- Choose between 25% increased stun threshold, 30% increased elemental disease threshold, or 25% increased mana regeneration rate.
- Choose between 10% Chaos Resist or +5 to all attributes or 15% reduction in the debuff's slowing power on you
Permanent bonuses in act 1
Act 1 contains six skippable power-ups, including one of three morale boosts available, as well as a salvage bench that allows players to convert unwanted items into crafting currency.

Permanent bonuses on hard difficulty
As of Early Access, only three actions are available out of six planned for the game's full release. To compensate for this, the game takes players to a hard difficulty level after completing Act 3, allowing players to travel through a harder version of the campaign while keeping all of their items and stats. The same permanent bonuses are also available throughout the campaign on Cruel difficultywith only minor adjustments, including:
- Candlemass, The Living Rite now grants 8% max health instead of +20 max life
- King in the Mist no longer grants +30 spirit
- Ignagduk, The Balot Witch now grants +40 Spirit instead of +30 Spirit
- The Slithering Dead now rewards players with a choice between +10% Chaos Resist, or +5 to all attributes, or 15% reduced slowing power of your debuffs
Since Cruel's difficulty is currently a placeholder for the unreleased fourth, fifth, and sixth acts, it's possible that the ongoing improvements provided in the second half of the campaign could change when they're released.
