Skyrim is getting new “DLC-sized” content.

Fans of the popular role-playing game The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim have extensive new “DLC-sized” content available now.

Kukielle decided to leave Skyrim Development of the mod on the eve of the second anniversary Degon and Caeserius' liberation. She announced her decision in a November 10th post on Nexus Mods, which she shared in response to a user's request for more changes to her Little Witch Taeka Elixi mod. Kukielle dismissed the request, saying she had spent years perfecting her add-ons based on user feedback, even if it conflicted with her own vision. “I'm done,” she wrote, clarifying that she has no plans to update her existing mods or take on new projects.

Kukielle's Skyrim mods caused 'daily harassment'

But the constant pressure to update is not the only reason why the modder decided to leave. Speaking to GamesRadar+, Kukiel revealed that since she started modding, she's been “harassed on a daily basis just for being a girl.” She also expressed frustration that her technical achievements have gone unnoticed by the community even after she spent “thousands of hours” creating advanced companions unlike anything that exists in Skyrim space for modification.

Elaborating on the degradation she faced, Kukiel revealed that some users continued to call her derogatory labels implying that she creates sexual content for Skyrimwhich she never did. While several of her mods, including Degon and Caeseriusare marked as adult content on Nexus Mods, Kukiel says that's simply because of the profanity they include, noting that none of it is overtly sexual. The former modder has now decided to focus on music, and her first attempt on that front resulted in PANCESA-WEBalbum, which she released on November 9, which she says draws inspiration from all her experiences.

Despite her ambition Skyrim mods are used by hundreds of thousands, Kukielle's Patreon page shows that her efforts have received direct support from just a few hundred people, earning her just over $400 a month in donations as of November 2024. Her modest salary and overall experience as a fashion designer both highlight broader questions about the appreciation – or lack thereof – that Skyrim community show for its modders.
