Corey Pritchett is reportedly now facing serious charges following an alleged kidnapping incident on November 24, 2024. in southwest Houston, adding to a growing list of kidnappings involving content creators. According to ABC13, the two women, ages 19 and 20, met him at the gym and spent the day doing activities like ATV riding and bowling. However, their experience took a terrifying turn when Pritchett reportedly threatened them with a gun, drove at high speeds on I-10 and confiscated their phones, telling them he planned to kill them. The women later told authorities that Pritchett appeared worried, was sure someone was after him, and that he was accused of setting the car on fire.

After stopping his vehicle, Pritchett allegedly told the women they had one chance to escape and made them walk for more than an hour until they found a passerby who helped them contact police. On December 26, 2024, Pritchett was indicted on two counts of aggravated kidnapping, but had already fled the country. Authorities confirmed to the FBI that he flew to Doha, Qatar, on Dec. 9 on a one-way ticket and is now reportedly in Dubai. There he posted a video in which he ridiculed the rulings, said that he was “on the run” and joked about his actions. Meanwhile, former YouTube streamer Johnny Somalia also faces jail time, though his case is unrelated, as he faces possible new charges in South Korea.
The outcome of the case remains uncertain, and it is unclear whether the YouTuber intends to surrender to US authorities. However, it should be noted that in 2023, the famous YouTuber YourFellowArab was kidnapped for ransom in Haiti, but was eventually released. He later shared footage of his harrowing experience with a Haitian gang, giving his followers a gruesome glimpse into his ordeal.
