How to get all relics in God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok made several significant changes to the gear Kratos uses in battle. Relic Update:

Like most of Kratos' other tools, Relics can be upgraded. The process is similar to upgrading runic attacks and uses experience that Kratos earns during combat. To upgrade an heirloom, highlight the desired item in the menu and you will see the upgrade menu in the center of the bottom of the screen. Each relic has three tiers, with each item starting at tier one, followed by two possible upgrades. The cost of upgrades varies by Relic, with rarer items usually costing more.

Meign's talisman

Since all cooldowns are affected by the relevant stat, the length of cooldowns can vary depending on what cooldown stat an individual player has. In this guide, all cooldowns are based on stat level 100.

How to get the Meign Talisman:

• Location: Applecore, Svartolfheim

The Talisman of the kingdom will be the first Relic that players acquire God of War Ragnarok. This will be found automatically when searching for Tyr in Applecore during your first trip to Svartolfheim. You will find the relic when you come across a dead body stuck in a gap in the wall. Hand of Thunder

How to get Gram's Handle:

• Location: Temple of Light, Alfheim

In Chapter 4, Kratos will have to make his way through the Temple of Light once more. To find the Hit of Gram, you'll need to start from the chamber just before the main platform surrounding the Light of Alfheim. If you've already reached the Light, start there and climb the stairs through the door. • Location: Barrens, Alfheim

this Relic sword hilt is one of four special items that make up the special service known as “Lost pages.” Instead of finding the item itself, you will find one of the four lost pages and then be able to craft the item once you have the necessary materials.

The lost page that allows you to craft the hilt of Anrvadall is found at the northern edge of the deserts in Alfheim. You'll find a round set of ruins in the location marked on the map above. In this location you will find a legendary chest guarded by two Dark Elves. On the ground next to the chest is the Lost Page.

Where to find Skirnir's Gambanteinn:

This item can only be found after Chapter 9 and is given as a reward for completing several side quests and defeating the Gravel Belly boss. Complete the following quests in Alfheim:

Dodder's Glaive

How to get Glaive of Dodher:

• Location: Abandoned Village, Vanaheim

This relic is easy to acquire as Kratos simply has to defeat Fiske, the formidable Einherjar boss he fought in Chapter 6 – Retribution. This fight is unskippable and Kratos will automatically receive the Glaive of Dodher upon defeat.

Ridyl's fist

How to get a Ridill hilt:

• Location: The Lost Treasury, Midgard

The second Lost Pages sword hilt relic can be found inside The Lost Treasury Art Midgard. Unfortunately, getting to The Lost Treasury is no easy task. To do this you will need to collect two keys, one from the Rowers and one from the Forsaken Outpost – both in Midgard. With these keys you will need to solve the big shield puzzle in front of the Treasury. Once inside, you'll find the scroll you need in a pit to the left of the entrance.

How to get a Bilskinner Crack:

Fortunately, this item only requires Kratos to perform one favor: “Animal instincts.” At the end of this favor, you will fight Olaf Nautson. Defeating this raider will complete the favor and reward you with the necessary materials.

Dainsleif's hilt

How to get the Dainsleif hilt:

• Location: Forbidden Sands, Alfheim

The third sword hilt relic, The Lost Pages, is found in the Light Elf Ruins in the Forbidden Sands. Sveftorn is obtained as a reward for performing the “Lost Treasure” service in Svartalfheim. You will need to obtain Draupnir to perform this service. Head to Dragon Beach in Svartolfheim and climb to the top of the large wooden structure. Here you will meet a spirit who offers the Lost Treasure service.

Hand of Tyrfing

How to get the Tyrfing hilt:

• Location: Wishing Well, Vanaheim

Tyrfing's hilt is the final relic of the Lost Pages sword hilt, which can only be found after completing Chapter 13 and the Scent of Survival favor. This unlocks the Crater region in northern Vanaheim. The crafting recipe scroll is near the Wishing Well, just before the shortcut leading to the Mystic Gate.

How to get a mystical relic:

• Accommodation: Lake of the Nine, Midgard

South of the Temple of Tyr in Midgard, you may have noticed a glowing yellow spot on a long wall of ice just before the path to the Lost Treasure. Once you have Draupnir, return to this location and use the spear to break the ice wall. You will find a mystical relic behind a wall of ice. This item is only used to awaken the sleeping trolls you find around the Nine Kingdoms, which are required to obtain the Steinbjorn Armor Set.

Hand of Hofud

How to get Hofuda's hilt:

• Location: Main story mission, Vanaheim

The Hand of Hofud is automatically given to Kratos after defeating Heimdall in Vanaheim.

Hand of Groti

How to get Groti's hilt:

• Location: Crater, Wannheim

This is another hilt that players can only get after an achievement Crater in Wannheim. There are three Traveler bosses in this area that Kratos will face. One is found on the way to the Voronka region, the second is in the southwestern part of the Plains, but only at night, and the third is near the Overgrown Tower. The call of Motsognir

This is the only relic that can be purchased directly from the Shop without any other requirements. However, it is only available after completing the main story.

Forsbrandr's Hand

How to get Forsbrandr's hilt:

• Location: Raven, Niflheim

This hilt can only be obtained after killing Kratos all 48 ravens of Odin. Once you've done that, head back to the Raven Tree in Niflheim and you'll have to fight him The keeper of the ravens. Defeating this challenging boss will reward you Forsbrandr's Hand.

Skafnung's Hand

How to get the Skofnung hilt:

The hilt itself is given to Kratos during Word of Fate, but is not available for use as a relic until Kratos completes an extremely difficult task.
