GOMA, DR Congo: Survivors and relatives of victims of the 2004 massacre of Tutsi refugees in Burundi have launched legal cases of genocide and crimes against humanity, their lawyer told AFP on Thursday. The cases concern the mass killing of around 160 Congolese Tutsi refugees in a camp in Gatumba in Burundi near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. The three complaints were filed in Burundi, DR Congo and Rwanda, the countries of the suspected criminals, Paris-based lawyer Dominique Inhaspe said by phone.
